ARTIST NOTES: Made from hand crafted, blown glass this piece has been created whereby the colour is on the outside of the sphere which is then engraved and carved into using a sandblaster. The process is labour intensive but allows illustrations to be carved into the surface of the glass.

ARTIST BIO

Inspired by the natural world, my art uses glass as a canvas to carve intricate botanical drawings into the surface of each peice. My work combines function and aesthetics with a focus on creating vessels that emphasise the light transmitting properties of glass and are intended to be works of beauty that bring joy to those who view it.
