ARTIST NOTES: I feel that there is an under appreciation of mallee habitat and the wild life which depend on its preservation. Mallee Trees are among some of the oldest trees in Australia. Loss of habitat is a major contributor to species reduction; even relatively common species are experiencing a decline in numbers. This work is an expression of my deep appreciation of nature and the beauty to be found therein.
