ARTIST NOTES: Brooks Lookout was opened in 2001 and gives visitors to the Clare Valley the opportunity to picnic at one of the big Australian panoramas.

Sited 400 metres above the patchwork of wheat field's of the Blyth and Wakefield Plains, you can see 90 kilometres to the southwest to Yorke Peninsula.

ARTIST BIO

The mention of landscapes, wetlands and oil-painter Hans Koppan has become synonymous in recent years. Hans has made a special study of the Salisbury Wetlands and has produced works from the inspiration he has found being among them. His bold knife and brush technique have made Hans an award winner, with his work finding its way into the homes of a growing list of devotees

Hans is a Fellow of the Royal South Australian Society of Arts (FRSASA)

and has won prizes in a number of art exhibitions, first and second in the

Salisbury Watershed Art Prize as well as overall first and second in the prestigious South Australian Environmental Solar Art Prize.
